Emily Hay has been admitted to the inaugural list of arbitrators of the Patent Mediation and Arbitration Centre (PMAC).

The PMAC of the Unified Patent Court functions as a specialized body for the resolution of patent disputes through mediation, arbitration, and other suitable dispute resolution mechanisms. It operates from two locations, in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and Lisbon, Portugal, and provides institutional support and facilities for proceedings relating to patent disputes within the jurisdiction of the Unified Patent Court, as well as other European patent disputes involving unitary effect.

The PMAC will be formally launched at an inauguration ceremony to be held on 2 June 2026 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
