ArbBoutique welcome Raoul J. Sievers as Research Assistant in Berlin.
A recent graduate of the LLM in International Commercial Arbitration Law (ICAL) at Stockholm University, Raoul joined ArbBoutique after stints at the SCC Arbitration Institute, where he co-authored the SCC's recently published ISDS report, and a number of firms during his studies.
Aside from wrapping up his PhD on implementing arbitral collective redress, Raoul has written an article that will be published in the Revista Română de Arbitraj on the EU public policy dimension of current sanctions regimes (together with Jake Lowther).
Raoul previously acted as managing director for a social business set up to combat youth unemployment in Luanda (Angola) and to support the local grain industry.
