Chiann Bao delivered the keynote address at the International Bar Association Asia Pacific Arbitration Group Symposium, entitled “Beyond the Comfort Zone – Rethinking Arbitrator Appointments, Artificial Intelligence, and the Enforcement of Awards.”

In her remarks, Chiann set the stage for a day of discussion addressing the representation of Asia Pacific arbitrators and overcoming barriers to global appointments, the impact of artificial intelligence on arbitral practice, as well as the challenges and opportunities of award enforcement in the Asia Pacific region.
